Students are enrolled in ten weeks of tutoring and registered for the Writing Centers’ tutoring course (355:096). Passing this course and, thus, earning 1.5 E credits depends on a student’s attendance record. Attendance at four of the first five sessions is required in order to Pass the course. If a student misses more than one tutoring appointment, they will be dropped from the Writing Center schedule and receive a Fail on their transcript. After the first five sessions, a student may elect to continue tutoring for the remaining sessions or cancel the rest of their appointments. Students enrolled in Summer tutoring are NOT eligible for credit, and will be removed from the tutoring schedule after one unexcused absence.
