Should you apply for a Writing Tutor position, your application will be kept on file and, if we have the need for additional tutors this semester, we will be in touch. All tutoring applications are accepted at a rolling basis.

Students interested in working as a tutor at the Rutgers Writing Centers must be dynamic, highly motivated people with a commitment to open dialogue in a multicultural community. Students who have taken one of our internships in the past, or have previous experience tutoring at the college-level, have a higher chance of employment as a writing tutor. Expository Writing or its equivalent must be completed prior to applying.
